Default pc3 Do I have to set throttle position with preloaded map?

Got my pc3 from Jamie at Fuelmoto preloaded with map for my 07 Roadking. All I have done was install it and ride.Is it necessary to set throttle position?Bike runs fine, decel popping isnt too bad, high speed decel in fifth will give me a nice bang every now and then, but otherwise the bike runs excellent. If all else fails maybe I will read the directions.

Hook it up to your laptop. start it, at an idle the throttle position must be at 0% or you will have to reset it. Mine had a 5% there once and idled very rough. If youhave a smooth idle you are probably OK.

Yup. You gotta do it. Takes longer to connect up the laptop than to actually do it. After you reset it, twist it up to 100% quickly, and make sure it goes to 100% on the screen, then back down to zero.

The mistake that I made at first was I didn't notice that when I twisted the throttle it went to 100% immediately - with nothing in between! It would idle great and run like poop. I hoked the laptop back up after awhile of riding like that and noticed the problem - fixed it by setting the 100% position and now all is well. Just set your 0% then with the bike still hooked up and running slowly give it some throttle - it should slowly increase in percent. If not then set the upper side also.

Well that's the expensive way to do it. I have several spare PC's just sitting ariund so i set one of the up in the garage. NowI can tune the bike, surf the net, all right beside the beer fridge. [sm=icon_guiness.gif]
After i set mine i noticed a huge difference.

Okay,I will lug the puter down to the garage and hook it up.With the bike running,If my idle setting does reflect 0 % at idle do I have to do anything ?How do I set 100% throttle?Just crack it wide open momentarily then hit rest?
