Default Iron Ace mount and iomount magnetic mount on Street Glide

I know some have done this on the Road Glide. Has anyone used the iomounts on Iron Ace street glide mount?

If this works thinking using it for my note4 and possibly powervision if it'll work.

THANKS.

Electronics and strong magnets tend not to get along so well. Might want to avoid that. I might be being a little too cautious, but I'd never strap a phone or my Powervision to a magnet. They like to erase the contents of data storage devices.

What magnet is involved? Iron Aces mount attaches to Ram mount systems via screws.

If you're referring to floppy discs, tape drives, and harddrives, yes magnets are bad. My Motorola phone (Moto Z Force) uses magnets to hold the rear phone cover on. It uses magnets to hold the "Motomod" accessories on, and my Incipio brand car dock holds the phone in place by magnets. No problems.

Try holding a magnet near your tv. I'm not sure the screen on the Powervision has the same type of resistances towards magnetism as your moto Z, but like I said I could just be erring on the side of caution so as to prevent that sort of potential hiccup. I have no proof that it will or would do anything at all, but I wouldn't want to be the one to find out.

Pretty common for magnets to be used now to hold electronic devices.

Want to run a mount that's not so noticeable and magnetic seems way to go. Iomount has good reviews for cars, wanna see someone running one on a bike.. don't wanna lose my phone or powervision.

Did find a road glide running iomount but can't find owner and would to hear from someone running magnetic on a street glide iron ace mount.

Thanks.

LCD and LED screens are not affected by magnets as they contain no electron beam or phosphors.

I ordered it. Shipped today, so I'll take some pics and report when I mount it up.

This is what I ordered since it had the amp mount:

I have been using the iomount "nomad" for 2 years now. Works great. Can move it from bike to bike easily. They were designed for mountain bikes, so they hold really well.
