I like tint on some bikes but it is mainly bikes with a fairing and a short to med shield, In the case of the bike in this thread Clear is clearly better looking

 

With all of the pics of the different shields you have, it looks like you have plenty of shields to use at your whim.

Short dark shields look good. When I look at a bike with a tall dark shield, all I see is the shield.

 

I like that short dark shield, looks pretty cool. But for the large ones, the clear is better. A large one that is dark at the bottom and fades to clear might look good too.
