Dark looks too dark IMHO. A hint of tint might look better, otherwise clear.

Tinted near the nacelle would look alright but don't care for the whole shield to be tinted

I vote clear because it doesn't take away from the classic lines of the bike; it's there but it isn't. The tinted shield is a visual force that can't be ignored (by an onlooker) and removes many of the styling cues that are (to me) elegant.

Out of the two Clear....
With that said do they sell one that is split?
My Ultra has dark at the bottom and clear up top.
If it was shorter then maybe the dark one.

Yeah, I did trim an old shield and paint it, something like on a Dyna.
