Default Cruise Control

Any input on aftermarket cruise control? How costly is the factory set-up?

The factory unit is a good working unit. The cost will depend upon whether or not your bike is pre-wired for it. My 07 FLHT is...so the labor to install it is much less than if the wiring also had to be done. As I recall, the cost of the unit for bikes that are pre-wired are around $400.

List is $339. Here's a link on the installation; it's a good DIY project:

Price is $339 and the install was fairly straight forward. Takes a little time and patience. Saved a bit coin on labor, and now that I've got it wish I would have had it on earlier.

Just had it installed on my RK Custom. Use it daily. Paid 275 for the unit and 1.5 hours @72.00 per for install. Oh yeah, I had to buy the chrome lower housing for the controls because I already had the chrome on the handlebars. That was an extra 45 per side. Total, with chrome housings and ***** installed, about 475, well worth it IMO
