Default Toggle switch on nacelle

I have an LED strip I want to put on the bike but it needs to be wired in and I am ignorant with electric stuff. Im wondering if I can hook it up to the toggle switch on the left side of my nacelle (09 Road King Classic). Is that switch already hooked in to a fuse? What do I need to do to hook these up?

Usually the switches are all fused, follow the wiring or to confirm, turn it on, and pull a fuse you think is close. What ever is attached to it, will go off.

The auxiliary switch is wired back and fused thru the fuse box with a 15A fuse. The fuse box is located under the left side cover.

It is the 15 amp acc fuse in the fuse box. The wire from that switch goes to a capped plug under the seat in front of the battery. There are 4 wires in that plug. Black is ground, orange is accessory(on with ignition on), orange with a red stripe is the switched accessory (the switch on your nacelle) and the red with a yellow stripe is a brake light wire. You can get the Deutsch plug from JP Cycles or from HD with wires already attached.

Think calm thoughts! Electrical things like that are actually mechanical, screw or clip this to that, so shouldn't be a problem! We just need a fellow member who is familiar with your year bike to can give you a few direct tips on what to connect where.

Have you tried the 'Mechanical and Tech' forum> Electrical ? Good specific info.

Pay attention to what this guy posted.
Find that plug and that's how you wire up your LEDs to work on the fork tin toggle.
For reference, I asked pretty much the same question years ago cause I wanted to run my spot lights off that switch. It works perfectly by the way.

Just use the orange white wire located on the right side near the fork neck. Will light up when you turn it on. May have to dig for it a little but its there.

The plug under the seat from the acc switch on the left performs in this manner:
