I can tell you first hand that the Fatcat on a stock 103 is a pretty nasty sounding pipe; especially on the decel. Dyno results on a stock 103 will get you somewhere around 86 HP and about 107ft-lbs torque. The one I'm referring to has the performance Baffle.

I'm using the Boarzilla, which is for 113s and above on my S&S 124 LC and it's just more of the same and a more baritone. Pulling 131HP & 142ft-lbs Torque with no head work.

Either application, Very hard to beat the D&D on performance and sound with the performance baffle option.

My brother loves D & D and they do sound VERY good. He had the loud baffle and it was too much.

I work near Kendall Johnson's shop and he and his son swear by D & D. That is all they use and say it makes more power than anything else on the market.

If you go to Clemmons Cycle nearby and speak with Kenny he will tell you the same thing.

If I ever decide to go to 2 into 1 it will be D & D.

Good luck

So it looks like to run the d&d Boarzilla. It's going to cost me upwards of $6000. Just so I can sound cool! Lol. I made the appointment...... Hahaha.

Cornfused? Me too. Lol.

Yes, honestly closer to $7,000. You know what needs to be done, Jim. With Pistons, head work, gskts and whatnot. It's got me sick.... Labor, dyno, who knows what else? Should be just enough power to take out the trans. But, no worries.....Baker has a 7speed due real soon. Trans is only $3500.

Idk.....Just crazy if you ask me. But, something is wrong with all of us, right? No one's perfect!

That's quite a bit of dough to shell out just because your chasing a sound.

Its disgusting........It does bring with it one more side effect that I don't mind.

1) really really enjoy the noise, of the D&D product.
2) more power.

But honestly, more about the noise. Just know that adding the exhaust alone would be a big mistake.

I was at the dealer a few months ago and they fired up and SE 110 tire shredder kit with a D&D fatcat inside the show room. I wasn't expecting it, and it scare the sht outta me when they fired it up. Its by far the nastiest sounding exhaust on a built motor there is.

Joe: Far be it from me to tell a guy how to spend his money; I've wasted my share on complete nonsense.

I am curious though, if you've looking into and priced out a crate motor (?). I dunno, but I'm thinking that you could buy a 113" or larger, and still have your D&D exhaust system for that kind of money. That kind of power plant would be more fun than a built 107", for sure. Not that a 107" in anemic....mine is far from that. But I'd love to have more!

I guess I've never heard the fatcat in person so I've got to make it out one of these days- although not the best for numbers, the sound I get out of my 103 running VH true dual headers with CFR slip ons, I couldn't ask for anything different. Low n loud, just the way I like it.
