Sorry I'm new so not sure where to post this, I bought a stage 1 screaming eagle air cleaner kit brand new off eBay seller he said it fits all Harley 88ci efi. Well once I got it apart and started trying to install it I realized the intake port on the backing plate is semi oval to where my bike is round, can anyone tell me if there's difference in years or maybe previous owner changed mine? Just looking for a little knowledge to point me in the right direction

 

Does it still bolt up and seal?

 

No completely different the backing plate has like a rectangular opening and my bike is round. But even on the directions it's says 88ci efi here's a pic of the unopened kit I'll get a couple of everything when I'm at the garage in a little bit

 

The kit you have could be for a dyna or softail.

 

It's for the MM EFI,you may be able to just use that filter and trim ring on your existing backing plate.
