The All things ROAD KING SPECIAL THREAD
#601
One of the things I miss with the RKS is having a strobing brake light. I took a look at CD's products and didn't like the strobing that they show on their videos. I did replace the rear combo lights and front turn signals with their products and I like them. Did a little research and found a product that can replCe the rear reflector with a red strobe wired into the brake circuit.
I have noted that when I have had strobeing brake lights the caters tend to not follow or stop so close adding a margin of safety.
Product cost is $18

I got them at my local harley dealer. Both are part numbers for softtails. I had them on my 2014 breakout, took them off to sell them after I got my 1st Road King but no one bought them. So I installed them on my Cvo road king and then took the back off before I got the new Road King Special. One part number is for matte black and one is for gloss black. I'm not sure which is which. I hope this helps. 73342-09 73343-09.

I was thinking when I bought my RKS that I would eventually change out the Handle bars to 14". I actually think I'm going to keep the Stock bars. They are really comfy and seem like the perfect height for my arms. I really like the stock seat too. How often does that happen?? Lol Probably going to only end up doing small mods for now.
