What didn't you like about the Windsplitter? Considering that one for my RKS.

Default New RKS

Just recently (3 weeks) traded in my 04 RK for a 17 RKS in Olive Gold. Haven't done much to it yet- V&H slip ons, Cobra Air Cleaner, FPS Tuner, Headlight trim ring, Mirrors, 2 piece brown seat (which looks awesome with the Olive Gold), Chopped Engine Bars. Next project will be bars. Would like to go with the 14" Carlini Gangster apes (had the 16" on the old RK). Saw some folks on here saying that you could go 14 without changing the cables. Has anyone done this with the Carlini bars? They tend to run a little higher than what they list them as. Any help would be appreciated.

@FatVermonter I did not like the wind splitter because there was too much buffeting. I felt it more from the sides than the top. This windshield is an inch wider on each side.

@FunnelCake
I went with the 14" that is the same height as the wind splitter. I am 5'7". i would definitely do 16" if i was taller.

@UPSGUYUPSGUY Its the bracket from the HD Wind Splitter. I removed the wind Splitter, powder coat, and replaced it with the Freedom Shield cvo shield.

Trying to roll my bars, but having a hard time figuring it out. Is there an easy method? Does that cover with "ROAD KING" come right off?
