It works fine on the 17's---It is the same for all CanBus bikes 2011 on I believe. It is not unique to the 17's. And bulbs shouldn't matter as the system reads the draw and adjust the rate based on the draw.

Well hopefully I can get it squared away. I'll keep playing with it because I do like the LED's much better than the stock setup. I went with smoked rear lenses but with colored standard bulbs, it just didn't look right.

To do the load set, turn ignition key on and turn on the emergency flashers, after about 10-15 seconds, the load will level out and all flash rates will be as should be.
Yep, I bought Custom Dynamics LEDs for the front and rear, did the load set and everything works fine.

Good to know. On my Can Bus 11 the signals flash at the correct rate, but the dash indicator flashes fast. Just had to get used to it eventually. Nice to see they fixed that...

Default Day Maker

Will the CD road king adapter work for any H4 style headlamp?

Beautiful bike! My favorite color.... tell me, when you put your daymaker in, was it just plug and play? I'm thinking about getting one but all the stuff I read on HDs website looks like I need to cut into the factory wiring

Was it the actual HD day maker? And what adapters (if any) did you have to buy?
