Think I'm about to jump up to a new 2024 25th anniversary CVO 121. Looked at one today in gloss black w/dark red accents & carbon fiber accents...fell in love! But it's about $46K!!??
If I knew the Dominators would take 4 months to get in. I would have done the KST. Would have been easier pulling the wires through 1.5" vs 1.25

Totally agree. I'm 6 foot. Changed out my 14" KST's to 16" Carlinis but wish I hadn't. Getting numb in the throttle hand. The KST bars were MUCH more comfortable with the 2 way adjust!!

Timely Post I'm after new bars
Just put on a Le Pera Daddy Long Legs TALL seat which moved me back 2" and up 2". this is making me lean too far forward to reach the bars. I'm 6'5" with 35" arms and have tilted the factory bars back to help with the reach, but it's still too far. I'm finding the stock bars are too wide for a full lock turn and need something that brings the bars about 6" closer, 4-6" higher and about 3-4" narrower. I've emailed KST asking what bar they suggest, but I'm open to ideas from other tall folks that have gone through this already
thanks
brian

I would highly recommend the 1 1/2" thick 14 or 16" KST Spearheads. I loved mine & will probably sell my 16" carlini's to switch back. KST customer service is 5 stars as well...)

I also recommend KST 1.5" thick, I have the 14" Spearheads.

They are great looking bars, and while I'll admit, I didn't like them as much while on a stock seat, the bars themselves are so adjustable (thanks to the 3-piece system), that its hard to find a way NOT to make them work for you.

With the 14” Spearheads what length of clutch cable and brake hose did you need to buy? There a local guy selling a used 14” Pathfinder I’m going to buy
thanks brian

Mine were installed with a Burly Brand cable installation kit for 14" bars.

thank you. Did you go poly bushings too? Or are the stock rubber ones good enough for 14" bars?

I actually use solid aluminum bushings, especially with apes, that my local indy CNCs. Dont like any handlebar movement and I’ve never had any issues with additional engine vibration at the bars.

Ditto here, I run solid aluminum bushings as well on my 16" apes. No issues at all with vibration.
