The All things ROAD KING SPECIAL THREAD
#2551
I had the dealer adjust mine up on my 2020 RKS and rode for about 2000 miles. Wrist angle was crazy so I ended up going with a set of KST Spearheads in 10 inch. Did the install myself which was a bit fun when it came to the small nut under the nacelle. I went with the KST's so that I could set them exactly for what I needed. I'm 6'1 and it took me about 3 rides to get the final adjustments right. The bars are great in that you can adjust the pullback and angle to suit you. I also went with the large Avon memory foam anodized to replace the Kahunas that were on the bike when I bought it. They were just too small in diameter for me. Kst has a great system to pull the wires thru and I went with the 10" since the stock 9.5 inch rise wasn't enough. I do quite a bit of highway riding without a shield and the 10's work great for me but its just another option in bar manufacturers.

I will have to pull some measurements when I get home. Definitely have to get this done this winter so I can get some better long distance riding in. I am 5'8" maybe 5'9" but my arms are short. My seat is still stock, but I can plant my feet perfectly at the moment. The hardest thing for me to do is use both highway pegs while riding. I can do one on one off and reach fine but with both on I am fully stretched out to hold onto the bars.

I am looking at these at the moment https://www.jpcycles.com/product/975...gade-handlebar
I will either go with 12" or 14" I don't think my stock bars are 9" but I could definitely be wrong as I haven't measured. The dealer told me they were 6" mini apes, but he was also a moron. Either way the 6" pull back compared to what I have currently even at 12" should be plenty for what I am looking for.

Can't wait to put some miles on it. Looks like some great back support. I did add the gel to the passenger section for the wife as well, so hopefully she'll be comfortable when she is on it.

I'm sure she will. Just give it about 500mile breakin. Mine really got comfy after about 750 miles. I got the driver backrest with mine but never use it. That high rise at rear of seat gives SUPERB back support plus helps with passenger separation./comfort. I added the Souixide angled backrest that gives even more room for the g/f. She's happy when she's comfy and you know what THAT means! Roaming hands on the road...Haha Just know it will feel a little stiff at first. It'll break in perfect. Enjoy!
