Got my 14" KST Vanguard (Spearhead) bars installed yesterday at Lone Star Rally. Wow, can't state enough how happy I am with these. I seriously thought I'd not like apes's (always been a sport bike/power cruiser guy).
I swapped the stock RKS bars for Wild One 11" and didn't have any real complaints with them, just thought they didn't look "right" on the bike.
Well the KST guys just kick ***! I dealt with Rhett and setup an appointment a couple weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with the bars as well as the service! They called me back to fit the bars to me before they buttoned it all up. It was almost perfect, I did have to adjust one bar when i got home about a 1/4" but that was it.
Did I mention that I love the look and feel of these?

I'm doing the exact same setup on my 2019! After looking at dozens of bar styles I think this style fits perfecto'! I also dealt with Rhett at KST. Outstanding customer service there. I decided on the 22" Freedom Shield in medium tint. The 2" taller size is the only difference between yours & mine. I'm 6' tall so why I went with 22". Did you have any problems fitting the windshield to the bars? And what tint is that on yours...medium or dark? Looks like medium? TIA! Jon

Dark tint 20", I have a 22" dark tint also but I don't like looking through the windshield, I prefer looking over. I think a 21" would be perfect for me (I'm 6'1/2" lol)
No issues with the Freedom Shield, uses the OEM mounts.

Thanks for the reply... I went with the 22" in medium tint. Hope I ordered the right height. I went medium tint cuz it still gives the bike that blended black look but has transparency and I love the recurve at the top...sexi! Damn windshield's got as many curves as my g/f! Went with 22" cuz I already have a regular King shield at 20" and the wind bitch slaps me in the face over 60. A 22" should solve it, specially with that recurve. I had the regular clear shield installed at the dealer when I bought it new last September so all the hardware is already blacked out including the nut heads. Noticed the nuts still show chrome on some other guy's shields & looks like she-it. Will letcha know when I get it back this Saturday with my new KST Kustoms 14" Spearhead 1 1/2" bars...with pics!
