Risers are tough due to the nacelle arrangement. You have to change the cover to allow risers to extend up from the bushings. I did this when I put 14” Wild1 MX bars, which look like T-bars. So no clamps, straight bolts to the bushings and straight up.
You’d have to do the same for any risers taller then the 1” stock clamp.

I guess if you do it backwards you can justify paying more fo no windshield, bars in back, driving lights, and windshield. The point made before was that HD found a way to charge more for a lot less by simply changing out which parts they put on the bike. I seriously doubt it cost them the same as a regular RK.
