The All things ROAD KING SPECIAL THREAD
#1893
I am trying to do the same thing on my 2019 RKS. I wired up a molex to sae adapter (had a spare molex connector and a sae pigtail) and am getting the correct voltage but for some reason it is not charging via my Battery Tender USB Charger Adaptor. The adapter works off of my charging port but not this connection? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Looks like I might pick up one of these tomorrow a 2019 a local dealer is giving a good deal on. At least I think so.
This would be my first Harley.
Did you consider any other bikes before you bought this one? And why did you pick the Road a King Special?
Should I be worried about the sumping issue ?
Why does the sales manager call me brother ?
Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Might want to try a Heritage also...a little lighter and a bit more raw. Fun in a different flavor.
Both great motorcycles.
of course, being your first Harley...might as well try as many as you can. Everyone gets surprised sometimes.
