[QUOTE=Kralj;16250261]Well, after much time and looking I finally got my windshield bits back from the powder coaters and I'm happy with the results..

They look good! I just picked up a used shield with plans on using only during long highway trips. I know powder coating is truly the way to go BUT for my limited use (maybe 4 rides per year [I really try to stick with back road])....how would some spray paint hold up?

I actually got a quote for paint and the guy had my confidence that the paint would stand up just fine. Powder coat was $58 and the paint was $140. It was pure economics for me.

Detachable windshield. Not impressed with Harley's windshield. 1. It's a 16". 2 inches shorter than the on I had on my breakout. 2. The way it attaches sucks and scrapes paint off!
It mounts to the bolts on forks. Any other options out there?
Any one else have this issue

Man I hope you installed the windshield bushings before mounting your Windshield?? I don't think anyone has had that problem with the proper mounting bushings. Not a scratch on mine.

You're using the bushings, right?

Yes the hardware is there but where it mounts to is not flat like that picture. It Flair's out a little. The chrome piece on the windshield seems narrow. I'll post pictures tonight. I may have to bend the bracket a bit or grin a little off.

Is there a Re-location bracket in black for the Turn Signals ?

I would like to relocate my turn signals from my bars to the Forks ..

Also in doing this can a windshield still be mounted?

Windshield is not to much of a concern as I haven't used one yet..

However it would be nice to retain the option

I couldn't find a part number for turn signal fork re-lo so if anyone could help out that would be awesome.

Gonna add some 12" Apes to the King and think the Bars look much cleaner without the turn signals attached.

Next mods are solo saddle and black flush fuel cap and gauge. All the specials are looking good! 👍🏻

Beautiful ride...where did you buy the LED headlight from?
