I really wanted them, but have some other priorities at the moment. Still thinking about getting the bars and install them myself cause I also want to replace riser bushings with polyurethane ones.

That is what I am doing.. Buying the bars for my RKS and installing myself.. I plan to change out the bushings for poly's as well.

14" just trying to finalize Spearheads or the classic style of the Pioneer which I think suits the RKS well... just love the aggressive look of those spearheads so I have been struggling on which way to go however I have an easy fix for that ( Think I am going to order both sets of bars and hold them up to decide which bar I like best and will just return the other set )
I almost went to Myrtle this week for an install b/c it was a solid deal and would be a fun ride from Richmond, VA but time didn't allow and I figured this way I save some coin plus get to install new bushings.

Have you taken your C&C seat on any long trips?

I took my RKS for a 3 hour ride last weekend, and my *** was pretty tender afterwards. I never felt that on my Ultra Limited.

What do you guys think on what wheels i should get, All blacked out or black and chrome . Im thinking all blacked out is a bit much since the RKS is all blacked out.

On the black RKS, I think you couldn't go wrong with either. You have the black rim with the chrome spokes which would complement the rest of the bike but the black spokes would enhance the rest of the bike.

I bought my special because of the blackout but, sometimes I miss the chrome. When I replace the factory exhaust I’ve been playing with the idea of doing chrome. Has anybody else thought about it? Maybe look odd?

I found a few pics online of blacked out bikes with chrome pipes and they look good but they weren’t specials.

Thoughts?

I’ve thought about it also but not starting to think about sticking with the blacked out theme .

And that is why I have one chrome bike, and one blacked out bike.
