Trying to decide what I am going to do next.. I mod slowly and in stages as I enjoy the progress of my Bike rather than knocking it all out at once.. For some reason its just not fun for me to go all out in one shot.. so thinking the following for End of April ... then will probably do round 2 in June .




Option 1. HD low profile Solo Seat and Black Flush Mount fuel gauge Kit


Option 2. Chopped Engine Guard and Black Flush mount fuel gauge Kit


Option 3. 12" Carlini Evil Apes with HD Defiance Handle Grips






Any Input on the above ?


Highflow A/C , Tuner , Cam , will probably be on hold for year 1 .. want to see how the Bike does in its first year and decide if I go aftermarket or just go Harley and play it safe.
While I want more power and sound the Rinehart Slip ons work for now.

 

The black flush mounted fuel caps are awesome. So easy to see fuel level now anytime day or night. Makes the tank look so much cleaner.

You might want to check out some other seats before you go with the HD seat. Mustangs are pretty nice.

 

Mine is going back to stock tonight until we figure out these oil leaks!

 

Where you seeing oil? The S&S effectively vents the heads to the A/C mount, so look there and see if it is coming from the mount bolts.

 

It is collecting on the garage floor underneath the transmission dipstick and engine oil cap. It is also getting on the collector on the exhaust. The breather bolts are totally dry and there is zero oil on the side of the motor. I am pulling the filter tonight but there isn't any oil on the filter either. There was a stream of oil coming from the trans dipstick running down the case. I wiped it up and rode again and there was nothing. I am stumped.

 

Wonder if it is that new oil cap you got? Weird---

 

I ruled that out because I took it off Thursday when I noticed some oil dripping. This is making me say Fing Oil though. Lol.

 

Anyone change out anything new recently ?

I just ordered the chopped engine guard.

Not to the Road King. Road Glide ate an oil pump,cam plate,cams,lifters, etc. So that ate up my Road King funds. Ugh.
