Default Neat trick to remove bolt in rear fender

I'm sure any of you that have removed your rear fender are well aware of the torx bolt inside the front of the fender that screws into the battery box. I called all the dealers around me, bike mechanics, anyone I could think of, to ask how to get to it.....They all said I needed to remove the rear wheel (I didn't feel comfortable doing that since I never had). There just wasn't enough room between the bolt and the tire to get a ratchet on it. I tried everything to get to it........Finally I took a 1/4" ratchet wrench and slid it on my bit without the ratchet.....It worked beautifully....Had it out in less than a minute!!!!

I hope this helps someone out.......It DEFINITELY was easier that takin the rear wheel off.

If someone else has figured this out and posted it just remove this post......I search this forum high and low and found nothing (except to remove the tire)

I have a Chapman Tool Set similar to this one, it will help you in more binds like that one than you can imagine. Priceless.
