Any baffle will come out or drill out, but normally don't sound good. The best thing to do is hit some bike skows and listen to some bikes with the set up your looking for. Personally I would just leave the pipes till your ready to buy your choice, I can't tell you how many pipes I bought over the years with out listening to them first only to be disappointed, listen first. Also when you remove baffles it is not good for performance, you need some back pressure. Good Luck

 

I didn't care for the looks of some, and the price of most of the exhaust systems out there. So I bought a take-off exhaust system and sent them to be modified. They now appear to have 2" baffles in them. To my ear they sound like the ovals at idle. They have a slight bark,but only on heavy accel does it drown out the radio. I have an 07 E-Glide. The pipes were modified by BobVicR. I found out about him on this forum, you can find him on Ebay. I am happy!
