Just finished the install of the Love Jugs Cool Master Fans on my 2012 Vivid Black Limited. I went with the Gloss Black to match the bike.


Also went with the Frame Mount, and the Vibration Dampener.


Install went pretty smooth, hardest part was attaching the Frame Mount Bracket with the Hose Clamps. Just have to take your time.


I ran the power wires up and thru the plastic wire loom under the tank.


I ran a piggy tail fuse holder at the fuse block on the accessory circuit. I was already using my switched accessory circuit for some Fog Lights. Nice thing about doing it this way is that the fans run whenever the bike is running, but they're on their own separate circuit.


I was going to go with the new Mighty Mite Fans, but I think the Cool Master look good on my bike.

 

Talldog, I would have gone with the black Mighty Mites, but after seeing the gloss black on the Vivid Black, you made the right choice. (mine 2011 RK Vivid Black)

 

Off hand I'd say they look pretty good. And that's from a close up shot, probably look less obnoxious in an over all style shot. Here's the thing, I get that they're not for everyone... I think they can add a cool look tho if you match em up right.
Kinda like a nice muscle car... WITH A BLOWER COMING OUT OF THE HOOD!
Looks cool to some people, maybe too much to others.

How is it mounted to the frame? It looks like the horn mount or maybe I should ask what exactly is mounted to the frame?
