I'm waiting for The MoCo to build that water cooled touring engine. And put a bigger gas tank on the dang touring bikes...Jeez, how about a seven gallon tank? It wouldn't be that much larger, and I really hate stopping for gas every two and a half hours when I'm running the interstates.

Actually, I'd really like to see a water cooled, EFI,OHC 1.6L, V-4...Engineered and built in Milwaukee USA. 120hp/150tq stock. I think it's time for The MoCo to 'create' a new Harley sound. Two up touring, towing a trailer, loaded with gear, headwinds, passing semis while riding over the mountains...No problem.
I agree, that would be the PERFECT H-D,and I have hicked one over. Charlie-horse in the thigh is a bitch.

Amen, its the look and feel of the bike. Maintain the sound and look and what do you have to loose going from air to water cooled. Like others have said, I would also keep my air cooled if I bought a new one.

The only time my RK is unhappy is when it gets too hot sitting in traffic. I would love liquid cooling provided they could preserve the classic looks.

Yeah, it's inevitable. All the handwringing tree-huggers whining about global warming -- er, global CLIMATE change, sorry -- and carbon footprints. Sheesh...they were even talking about banning the production of black cars. The bike crowd is too easy a target -- all these people having FUN, for cryin' out loud, riding their noisy, smoggy bikes when they ought to be driving electric cars and zipping around on faggy Segways. If the government can tell you what kind of light bulb to buy, how many gallons you can flush in your toilet and when you can wash your car, you can bet they'll clamp down soon on bike emissions.

No, Harley is air cooled and unique in it's style.I'm sticking with that. Of course I don't trade every six months to a year just because it's something new and I can brag about having it. I'm old school all the way, and I like it like that.
