His style of wheel ("Drop Center") have never been Tubeless from HD. The only possible Tubeless Laced spoke wheels are "Profile" (smoothies) wheels. Some are and some aren't. They will say "Tubeless" on the wheel. If the tires are off then it's obvious...You've probably never seen a wheel made tubeless the way HD does it.

 

From my experience, all tubeless profile laced spoke rims are stamped with the word "tubeless" on side of rims. Was told if there are no stampings then it has a tube.

Some "profile" wheels are Tubeless and some aren't. They will say "Tubeless" if they are.

 

Mine don't say tubeless on them and the valve stem to me is a giveaway as well.
