Default Carlini 14' Inch Apes/Cable Lengths

I posted on a previous topic but it has been a few months without activity. I am putting together parts to install 14 inch Carlini Flying Apes on my 2016 Road King. I need to know what length clutch and brake lines I will need as well as length for TBW extension. I am not new to wrenching on bikes but this is the first pair of handlebars I have installed. Any advice appreciated

I would contact Carlini. That being said, I just installed 14" HCC standard apes and my cables and lines were plus 6.

carlini now sells kits but they are just balbelled as 12" to 14" bars. I emailed and of course they won't give specifics on what dimensions are in the kit

**BUMP** Anyone have input on this? Cable length questions seem to be pretty common around the forum. I'm prepping to install 14" Gangster Apes on my '05 Road King and was wondering about cable lengths myself. Thanks all.

I have 14s and went with +8. Should have gone with +6. But I think you also need to consider the riser right? Not sure if the add-on riser adds height in your situation or not.

I installed WO 14" apes on my 16 RK and used all +8 cables. You should not need to extend your TBW harness. My 16 had the longer factory harness already. On my 08 RK I had to purchase an extension kit. You can get everything you need from NAMZ

But I’d get all the stuff with the ability to return what you didn’t use.

Josh,

below is what I used on my Road Glide.

Cables (Drag Specialties)
ALTERNATIVE LENGTH BRAIDED STAINLESS HIGH EFFICIENCY CLUTCH CABLE # 0652-1494
http://www.dragspecialties.com/produ...umber=06521494

Wiring

HANDLEBAR EXTENSION WIRING KITS # 2120-0385

<http://www.dragspecialties.com/products/?productId=411512&partNumber=21200385>

TBW
THROTTLE BY WIRE EXTENSION KITS # 2120-0544

http://www.dragspecialties.com/produ...oductId=411510

Brake Line
DESIGNER SERIES ABS-SPECIFIC FRONT BRAKE LINE KIT, just dont remember the length. The place I ordered it from screwed it up, so I got a replacement and I dont know the part number.

Hope it helps!!
