Default Break in miles finally done.

Over the last 2 weekends of nice weather I put the 500 miles according to the break in procedures. Decided to actually do a break in the way they recommended rather than the ride it like you stole it that I have before.

Talk about agony changing speeds, rpms and such out in our country with straight, long and fast roads. So far I am impressed with the M8 107 motor. The last 50 miles I actually rode it like I would any time. About 15 miles of our 1 crooked twisty road in 100 miles, 15 miles of interstate and then 25 miles to home on a typical highway. The trip summary was showing an average of 47 mpg. Impressive and should only get better.

My new RGU

Now you gone and done it. Bike will never run right. You did not do the 30-60-30 or the 60-90-60. Or have it done by a pro on a dyno. Bike is toast send it back.
Enjoy the ride it will serve you well. Nice looking ride , I am bias towards RGU
You are going to enjoy the M8

Good job on the break-in. I remember mine last year and it seemed I would never get it done.

I like your taste in models and colors.

AMEN. If I want twisties on this God forsaken plain, my only option is to go play on the freeway ramps. That is, when the wind isn't howling, and THEN usually from the direction I'm traveling.

Sometimes I wonder why I enjoy this so much...
