On a '12 FLHX manufactured for sale in Canada the tri bar rear tail light is non functional. All parts are present however the internal LED lights inside the tri bar light housing are removed. Canadian Spec FLHX's are equipped with the standard tail light as equipped on most other FLH's. So what you end up with is a non functional tri bar light and a the stock FLH large red taillight that is functional as a running, brake, license plate light. I purchased an american spec tri bar light and installed it. It works, however this is what happens: Tri bar light and the left turn signal illuminate as my running lights. No Brake lights and no rear turn signals. I would like the tri bar light as well as the stock tail light to be both running and brake lights.

Has anyone ever did this conversion? I've seen it done before. Need some help.
