Can someone help me with info why Chizeled LO handlebars (9") are not specified for Road Glide Ultra from '15 - up, since 14" are specified as available also for RGU? What might be issue with lower ones?

afaik, there was no RGU for 2014, so the '15 and up would work out. Outside of that I don't if it would fit or not. A Harley dealer should have those bars in stock, so I would check with them.

 

I was looking at the same bars for my 2016 RGU and was wondering the same. Asked around at the dealer and it seems the mirrors would hit the windscreen on the RGU being it uses a taller windscreen than the RG and RGS. I guess the 14 and taller bars would clear the windscreen.

 

I have installed Wind Splitter Windshield for Road Glide 12". It looks great and have some extra room right in place where mirrors would hit windshield otherwise with OEM one. You should try it it is great windshield and looks pretty cool. Part# 57400271

 

I believe the pin is on the opposite side than the RG and RGS...push it in flush or pull it out...should work then?...I like the low bars...

Maybe someone with these on their RG/RGS has a higher windshield they can test it out?

 

I put the Chisel Lo on my 16 RGU. I took pin out and it fits just fine. I use the stock and Klock Werks Sport flare with no issues with my mirrors or bars hitting.

Yes. Stock cables.

Also, the taller version of the bar would work but you will need new cables.
