I have the Wild 1's 504's...not too wide (2 1/2 in over stock) and an additional 1 1/2 in pull back.

Anybody know how handlebar 55908-04 fits for '08 RK Classic with ABS? , I need to get more pullback.
And how about cables etc, I don't have Touring Parts Gatalogue anymore

you could get a good deal on the RK police bars. Very close to the heritage bars and are easy to install. You can pick them up fairly cheap from the dealer for about $60.00

best to do it all at once and be done but if you are willing to try a few, I would start with a stock set of WideGlide bars pre -06, should be about $50 at the dealer for the bars. Many people like them on RoadGlide so it should be about the same. They will give you a more natural feel.

My suggestion is to hit a couple of the events/shows. I have seen Flanders set up at the indoor shows with a mock-upassembly that represents a MCand they would change the bars on it so you could get the feel for what you like. The next place is a decent HD dealer as some of them have the same mock-up assembly. What works for me and my build/size may not work for you. Age and broken bones along the path of life often dictate where your comfort zone is.

Wild 1 518's are the best add on I have made to my '06 Road King. They have a little more pull back are a little higher and wider than the stock bars. I put mine on in April of 07 and then took a 4800 mile trip out through Colorado, Wyoming and Montana and never had the first bit of back pain I had with the stock bars. If i were to get another Road King The first mod I would do is put 518's on it as soon as I could. After I put them ona few buddies saw them and so far 1 has changed over to them and another wants to soon. Handlebars are very subjective though, what is right for 1 may not be right for another. Try to sit as many different bikes as possible and go from there. Good luck!

I put the Road King High Bars on my 05 RK. Much more comfort and they help get your hands closer behind the windshield I've noticed.

and how it works with New '08 models , " fly by wire" throttle grips, ABS etc, does it make any problem, because on 2008 H-D parts/Accessories won't find any pullback handlebars for new '08 models.
