I have a 2010 Ultra that is set up solo without the tour pack. I'm considering one of these three tail lights. My license plate is currently lit by a Custom Dynamics LED license plate. Looking for opinions from those of you that considered these three brands and what influenced your decision. Thanks

 

CD all the way

 

I haven't swapped over to LED yet on my limited, but planning to. Had all Custom Dynamics on my Deluxe, and was very happy with it. Never had to get any customer support from them, but everything I read seems to indicate it's excellent. I have considered BAL for the taillight, but did CD there on the Deluxe for simplicity of ordering and consistency (I did turns as well - bullet ringz), though as I understand it the BAL is brighter than CD.

I'll likely be going back to CD when I do the switch on the limited.

 

For safety and reliability, you can not do better than BAL. I have CD brake/turns on my 'King also, they match perfectly.

We've got Custom Dynamics Dynamic Ringz on the front signal lights of all 3 our bikes. No complaints with CD's products.

 

^What he said. Lifetime warranty and they're bright. I have Custom Dynamics all around except for the Daymaker and Daymaker Aux lights. Once the Daymaker's go I'll be replacing w/ Custom Dynamics headlight/aux lights.

 

I have Custom dynamics Tail, run/turn/brake and 8" Plasma rods on the back of my King, even without the plasma rods its A LOT of light. In regards to the tail light itself, even though the BAL-1 has only 4 LED bulbs, it is brighter than the CD but pretty much twice the price.

 

I ahve a BAL but bought it used..from what I understand the BAL has a 5 year warranty..not sure about the specifics...CD, lifetime and quick...

 

I'm as big of a CD fan as they come, but for the taillight there is no comparison to a BAL
I have HD lights on the saddlebags, CD fillerz & fender tip, and BAL taillight (and a plate frame not in the video)
