Here's mine after paint. As I said they were working great before, I see o reason they won't continue to do well.

I don't know who makes the advan black lowers

but this is the set I bought now cheaper than the $70 I paid shipped
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Lower-...9TBCng&vxp=mtr

and this guy has them even cheaper
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lower-Vented...1YiCXi&vxp=mtr

and this install kit because I will probably remove them once it gets HOT here for more air flow

I do not like the 14 up lowers, I don't think those vents are large enough and even remove the grates over where radiators would sit I still don't think there would be enough air flow

I thought the same, but went ahead and got the Fairing Factory 14-up style lowers. With the block off plates removed and vents open, they move plenty of air. I wanted to add speakers in the lowers, rendering them permanent fixtures. I haven't done the speakers yet, but I leave them on. I removed them, for the first time since I installed them, to get them painted.

My write up.

I'm considering adding these to my RKC. I have fork deflectors which have been my best upgrade so far.

What is the impact of adding the fairing lowers?

I'm waiting on someone to give a review on their Big Blue Pearl paint. They claim to match the factory finish but I don't have the guts to be the first to try that color.

If someone does not take one for the team soon I may have to be the first.

Color match is good as well as paint quality. Had to adjust one of glove box compartments, loosened three screws under cap and moved compartment over slightly. Easy install, no instructions by the way. Two small paint imperfections, tried to take pic but only shows up under fluorescent light. I had to point them out before my buddy could see them. One is behind highway peg, size of pinhead. Doors are not as tight as OEM. Latches also not as crisp. But work ok, factory ones do fit if you want to change. Saved over two hundred dollars over OEM so will see. If these do well I'll probably go for Advans chopped tour pack and stretched bags.
