What is the simplest way to change baffles. I am removing old baffles in rush pipe and putting 2.0 in there. What do you use to pull that thing out of there????

I've never had the Rush mufflers but I understand they are very easy to remove once you remove the screw that holds in the baffle. Icurrently have a set of Vance & Hines slip-ons that I removed the baffles as well as having removed baffles from other pipes I've had on my bikes over the years. Some have been easy to remove (from what I hear the Rush mufflers are one of the easiest) and some have been difficult. For the baffles that don't remove easily due to a very tight fit, rust, etc., I removed the mufflers and thensprayed WD-40 in both ends of the muffler and let them sit for a while to absorb the oil around the baffles to help loosen them. Then, I used along piece of wood inserted into the rear of the muffler andgently tapped it repeatedly with a rubber mallet until it loosened enough for the tip of the baffle to stick out of the tip of the muffler. Then, I would usetwo channel lock pliers ortwo vice grips to grab the baffle around the edge to pull them the rest of the way out of the muffler. Your Rush baffles probably won't be that difficult, but these tips are just something to keep in mind if it becomes difficult or for future reference forbaffle removal of otherbrand mufflers.
