So I just picked up a 2012 FLHTP, and as it is a police bike it has no radio. I was curious if anyone here as any experience with Electra glide police bikes in the fact if they have a wiring harness for a factory radio or not? I am simply looking to mount a bluetooth amp and it would be within my wheelhouse if there was a factory plug for a radio to tie into for power needs. As I am a master Amish electrician.

 

Order the interconnect harness from New castle and it will be a plug and play with switches added to handle bars. I just ordered the switches and switch housings wired it myself. Then added biketronics kit with Marine grade stereo.

 

get the police supplement manual- you will need this.

the wiring diagrams will show you where the cop version varies and how to add use stock touring wiring components
