Have RK&RG. RK actually has less wind but it does not bother me. Just got back from 3300miles on RG . I did try a clearview 1 inch taller. Could tell no difference but was much better quality than stock.

How tall in the saddle do you sit (height - inseam)?

Thanks, I'm 6'3" with a 32 inseam. I may look at an even taller screen. I assume you look over the screen when you ride.

All replies are very informative andmuch appreciated!!!

Since I started the initial thread on 05/31/07, I can only say that I am completely dazzled by the amount of riding my wife has put in on the back of my FXD. I could in no way have anticipated how much she has enjoyed herself.

The summer of riding culminated in her suggestion that we do a ride to Skyline Drive in Virginia in the fall!! Well, three weeks ago we left Pittsburgh, PA on a Friday morning. We met many from our HD forum atGrove's H-D in Winchester, VA on Saturday morning and rode the Skyline Drive, then returned home Sunday evening, 610 miles round trip.

Having met several touring bikers while at our hotels or while riding, the wife agrees we need a touring Harley. Now, serious thought prior to this spring on just what model, the Ultra or the Road Glide. I think that I will make the Myrtle Beach Spring Bike Week in 2008 just to demo both models on a longer ride than my local shops allow. Possibly renting each for a day might be good idea if I cannot make MBBW.

I admit I am leaning towards the Road Glide, but want a road test of each before laying down $20,000+.
