Following...

I'm curious as to what you'd take as a cash offer? I have a couple of friends in NH that might be interested for the right price. Not sure what the "right price" is to them though...

Before selling this bike, take off the extra parts, replace custom parts with stock parts and then sell these parts privately.

I kept my 07 UC with little over 100K miles for few months after buying my 15 Lilmited but didn't use it as I expected, try to sell on my own but too many scammers then handed over to my dealer for $7500 and cashed out the remaining ESP little over $500. But market has been very tough lately especially for a seller.

5-6 yr. old bike with 100,000 is worth about $4500.
might be worth that, but you can get more. Just put up for sale and ask for bids. I think it will sell for $7000 to a handy type who is not afraid of miles. but remember your competitor is bikes with less miles.

Curious, how many bikes do you own ? Because of your sig line shows 5 and the miles on them.

At 97,000 I'd be tempted to ride it til the 100 k mark..

Have you had any offers on the bike?

My question is what could I expect to get for it in a private sale?

I have put lots of bells and whistles on it and would not think twice about a cross country road trip. I just cannot justify two bikes . Know what you all will say about that one..........

Anyways, any input will be appreciated
I would list it for 9500. Add all of the extras in the add and don't show the mileage at first and see what happens. U will need to get the buyer there to see it, hard to sell over the phone, I just can't seem to get the bike thru the wire. u can always lower the price it is hard to go up

No, no, no. Tell them in the ad how many miles. Or you will get a ton of calls and then a "sorry, too many miles". Be honest and a buyer will appreciate that. Don't hide anything.

Without looking at the other posts, I think you have to start at least $3,000 below wholesale to get any interest. If you think that is way off, in the last two years, I have purchased three bikes with less than 20,000 miles at $2000 below wholesale. One of those bikes only had 8,000 miles. So the good deals are out there. You need to get folks attention to point out the benefits of your bike. It's hard to get attention for any Harley with more than 40,000 miles.

Forgot to mention that I skip any ad without the mileage unless the price makes the effort to ask worth my time.

Thanks for reminding me,
I'm going to go down to the garage and unplug my speedometer.
