I want to use my radar detector as well with this Heads Up Display so I don't have to look at the detector.

I run a TPX on my Hayabusa. Had it on there 4 years with no problems whatsoever. This thing is made for bikes with obvious touches like Nice big glove friendly buttons and no worries about rain/elements the thing works like a champ. I have it hard wired in and mounted on a neck stem mount.
