Default Uneven inner fairing skirt

Can anyone help me with this? I just installed my bars and the left (brake) side of the lower-inner- fairing skirt seems to be pushed out a bit. Not really noticeable until I got down to looking at everything after I got the bars installed. I am sure if I called the shop that did it they would fix it for me, they were awesome and always have been, however, it its a quick and easy fix Ill just do it myself. The right side is flush and looks like it should but the left protrudes out a bit. Not really sure that I need to do, I tried loosening the two small screws on each side but it wasn't budging. Any help would be great, thanks all!

The first photo you can see just under the radio how it is out a bit farther. Second if the right side.

I would take it back to the shop that did it, that way if they warranty their work, you don't throw that away if you do something wrong. I did my bars myself and there are TOO many things that could be causing the problem.

It looks like the left side just didn't get hooked under the bottom lip of the inner fairing. Did you just loosen the side screws, or did you fully remove them? Take them all the way out and reseat the lower panel until it fits in under the inner fairing.

It can take a couple tries to position it properly sometimes as it fits over the ignition and can't move around too much in that limited space. But nothing is broken, and nothing should be behind there pushing on the panel. Even if the handlebar controls have their connectors relocated to right behind there (taller bars without extended wiring can be accomplished sometimes by pulling up the extra length in the harness and moving the connector housings from their stock locations), there is enough room for everything to fit properly.

Looks like the bars are touching the rubber grommet on the right side where the wires from your bars used to go. The new bars are a larger diameter than the old ones.
I have to file mine down with a rattail file to get it to fit right.

Thanks pp6000v2,
I will give that a shot. Do I have to lift the inner facing to get it to sit right or does it just catch the lip and sit in place? Thanks for the responses

It just sits behind the bottom lip. There's nothing that "engages" between the pieces, the inner fairing just holds the top of the dash panel in place, and the screws on the sides of the piece secure it tight to the fairing. You should be able to get it in place without removing the ignition ****; just take out both screws and giggle around until it sits under the lip.
