I tried, but the HD fan doesn't fit the '07 96".

Guess I'll rely on synthetic oil and a stage-1 to do my coolin'.

I have one on my Ultra. Sure enough, in hot temps, it turns on in stop-n-go traffic. They are kind of ugly.

Check LeNale Engineering they make muffin fan kits that are much smaller than the H~D fan. Air flow with the LeNale fan is supposed to be very good and it's about the size of the OEM cow bell horn cover. The same company makes oil cooler fan kits and I have been very satisfied with the one I installed two years ago. I have seen the LeNale fans on eBay and at Whitts H~D in Manassas, VA. I have heard mixed reviews from folks with the H~D fan kit. Hope this helps

I have one on my 07 Ultra. It kicks on when the temps get hot. I did this along with a stage one and true duals. Together, they do reduce the heat.
