We were getting hammered on I-80 heading to Sturgis in Indiana about 4 years ago. Stopped at a dealership (Hoosier HD?) and picked up a pair of HD rain gloves. Well insulated for colder weather and pull up over the sleeve of my rain gear (mini gauntlet). Hands are dry and warm all the time, never a problem. Now if they could just make a summer version?

I also normally keep a couple of extra pair in the bike. Not just for rain, but mainly temp based. If too cold, I will switch to the heavier gloves, etc. I have tried mink oil on the leather gloves with little success. I have also worn the rubber gloves under my leather ones. Maybe the diesel glove covers are the way to go.

+1 on these; they work great and fit over a wide selection of gloves from summer to winter weight.

I pick up a pair of HD water proof gauntlet gives a few years ago that keep my hands dry even when riding in rain all day.

I normally do not buy HD riding gear but while on a trip I got caught in rain which soaked all my gloves. I pulled into the first motorcycle store I came across and paid the premium price for the HD gloves and haven't looked back.

I've been using a RevIt Phantom GTX waterproof gloves for a few years now. It has Gore-Tex and has held up well. Coming back from a trip from Florida, ran into rain pretty much through the entire state of GA and heavy in some spots. Hands were bone dry and the gloves stayed grippy the whole time.

I think Revzilla has a closeout on them right now.

Sounds like there are a few good choices to keep your hands dry. I have a pair of Outdoor Research gloves that are water and wind proof. They came with liners that have a pocket for a chemical heat pack on the back of the hands. I don't use them in the winter because I have heated gloves that are leather and I have treated them so they are waterproof.
The OR gloves also have a breathable membrane so, although they are warm in summer, they do breath and really beat the hell out of latex or nitrile gloves.

Here's what I have. They aren't very sexy, but they keep my hands dry!

I have a pair of black rubber gloves that are about the same thickness of something you would wash dishes with. They go on if the rain suit goes on and work very nice. If its a cold rain I have a pair of brown gloves I slip on first. Cant remember where I got them though.

Go to either Walmart or any boat/fishing store and pick up a pair of neoprene gloves. I was given this suggestion back a few years ago while at Americade. Just so happened that the day was rainy and this guy had one of those finger squeegee things on a pair of those gloves and he said this was the best he ever had.....
