ANYONE HAVE A DYNA BEFORE THEIR TOURING?

RE: ANYONE HAVE A DYNA BEFORE THEIR TOURING?
I had an 03 Dyna Superglide that I absolutely loved, the wife wanted a better seat, so I bought my ultra. At first I did not like the change in bikes, the Ultra rode completely different (understandably), it stops and corners way different. Now after 4000 miles on it, I wouldn't go back for anything. The wife has a Softail Deuce and I rode it the other day, while it was fun I didn't like it nearly as much as the Ultra.

New member here today............wizkid on some other sites. I bought my dyna new in April '98 and after trying to do the 2-up thing with it I bought an '02 FLHRI. Although the RK is an awesome riding bike , I loved the nimbleness of the Dyna. So I kept it. This is how it looks today.

Bobberino,
I traded in my '06 Street Bob with 10,400 miles 9 days ago and just took my '07 Ultra in for the 1,000 mile service. I loved the Street Bob, it was a great bike, easy to handle and fun to ride. The street bob was the first bike I've had since I have been married and my wife was really enjoying riding, however there was just not enough room and storage on the street bob so I needed to upgrade.
I had my mind set on an '07 Road Glide until I took my wife to the dealership. We went in and I showed her the road glide and she wasn't even paying attention, she was looking at the Ultra next to it. Once she sat on it, it was over.
I love the Ultra, however it is a different beast. I am still getting used to the slow tight turns. It is comfortable to ride and has all the amenities. I figure "what the hell" I would have ended up there in a year or two anyway, why not get it now. At this point it was a great decision and I'm not looking back. I'm already starting to make it my own, with sert, pipes, antennas, windshield, etc...... Besides my friends on the wideglides, fatboys, and sportsters need someone to carry their $hit, however I will not get a cup holder for them...lol

I had a 2004 SuperGlide Sport, I loved the bike, but started doing bigger rides.
Rode out to Sturgis last year, and that was enough for me. I bought the street glide a month and a half later, and I couldn't be happier. Its a great machine, I love bar hopping, cruising, and touring with it. It is a great all around bike!
