Default Removing arms from King pak pad

So I've nearly got mama convinced to let me swap out my king pak for a chopped, but I've hit a snag. She wants to retain the larger king pad because she prefers that wrap around feeling to the flat pads usually found on the chopped pak. I'm cool with it so long as we can remove the arms so that they don't protrude past the back cushion. I've stumbled upon a few posts where people mention doing this, but I can't find any pictures of the result. I'd opt for purchasing a new pad if I could find one already shaped this way, but otherwise I'll have an upholstery shop tackle it as I want it recovered to better match the plain covering on my seat.

I should explain why I want to remove the arms, with the chopped pack I'll be losing the rear speaker pods and I think it just looks odd having those arms sticking out.
