Rush 2" too quiet for me
Got my Rush slip-ons, PCIII and K&N A/C from Fuel Moto last Thursday and installed them that night. Problem is that they are too quiet for my tastes.
Had Python staggerds with Thunder Monsters on the Wide Glide and although I wasn't looking to gothat loud again I was hoping for something louder than these.
May have to give Big City Thunder a call tomorrow and see if they have anything that will fit (don't think they have anything for an inside diameter as large as the Rush's though).
From other posts it seems that the 2.25 baffles aren't much louder?
Might have to try some other slip-ons. Any suggestions?

RE: Rush 2" too quiet for me
The Rush tech's advise you not to use the 2.50' baffles on the '07's.
Below is an email I recd from them:
Jeff,The reason behind our Tec's suggestion is the closed loop systemutilizing oxygen sensors to manage the air to fuel balance has a hardtime compensating for the open flow of the 2.50 baffle and consequentlyresults in flat spots in the performance bands. If you are thinking of using a fuel management system to help with the fuel to air ratio then the 2.25 would give you the sound and performance. The new bikes today are not the bikes of yester yearand the things we could do back then are slowlyrequiring a specialists just like the newauto's.I was thinking about going with the true duals to boost the volume of my 2.25' baffles.Peace,
