Default Road King Headlight Nacelle

I haven't got a service manual for my bike yet (2017 RK) was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for info on removing the headlight nacelle ? I'm having some parts powder coated & was wanting to get the nacelle done at the same time.

Search for someone doing a handle bar swap. I had found a good write up here somewhere. It has a lot of pieces, but pretty easy to do.

It's been awhile since I've had mine off but if it's the same as my 08, start by prying off the trim ring around the key hole for the fork lock. A knife or a thin bladed screw driver will work great. It just lifts out. That will expose the screws that hold down the fork clamp cover, which will expose the screw for the chrome strip down the top. There is a screw at the bottom of the headlight that will remove the headlight trim ring. Then you can see how the main piece comes off from there.
