Heat Air Blowers- After Washing Bike

RE: Heat Air Blowers- After Washing Bike
I use the airforce blaster as well. Works great and has a nice rubber nozzle. The air does get warm. It does not have a heater but the compressor action does heat the air. After a few minutes it's pretty warm. I bought mine at JC Whitney. I can wash the bike and have it back in the garage in 20 mins now.

I use my Stihl (model 55) leaf blower. It does seem to heat up the air. I don't know if that is from the motor heat or the compression. I bought it to use to clean off the pool deck etc. but it works great on the bike. It is their lightest, smallest model. I don't think any kind of filter is necessary. I mean unless the air you are blowing is full of large particles of something. Think about the stuff you ride through all the time going down the road!

ORIGINAL: Whiskers
I have a $40 Black & Decker leaf blower that works just fine and I finish witha damp chamois to clean up the spots on the chrome. I can't understand why anyonewould needa $200 heated leaf blower when the cheap ones work just as well.

I use the blower from my wet/dry vac. It works great to get most of the water off. After that, a quick wipe down with a microfiber chamois. All done! I personally can't see spending $200 buck on "hot air". I could use that money for another piece of chrome!!

Well I went out today and bought a TORO electric blower/mulcher for $59 on sale at Lowe's. This thing has 2 speeds. Low blows about 110mph and Hight blows 230 mph! I wrapped some duct tape around the end of the tube to protect the paint should I ever hit the bike.
