bigbrokah, lets us know how it went with the extra miles on the seat. Your description of sitting in it instead of on top is exactly what I look for in a seat.

 

Well Hollywood I put another 75 miles on it yesterday and it was much better than the first long ride. I was out for 3 hours and made one smoke stop about halfway thru. The ride Saturday was 60 miles/2hours and my tailbone was screamin at me when I got home. The seat is definitely firm, just like Corbins are. I think the discomfort on the first ride was because I had my feet on the cruise arms pretty much the whole time and all my weight (250 lbs) was on my tailbone for 2 1/2 hours. Yesterday I made sure to move around a little more, and it did worlds of difference. There was still a little soreness in the nether region, but nothing compared to the day before. I've heard that Corbins take a little while to "break in" and get really comfortable, I'm assuming (and hoping) it's the same with the Danny Gray. It definitely is one of the best looking seats out there IMHO, but it is not plush. I'll post againk in a week or so and let you know if it's any better.

I have a BIg Seat & Large pillion for sale ...2 piece leather seat, 4 weeks old & about 500 miles now. Its a great seat... but it just does notfit me right.

I have had mine for about 6 weeks. It is more firm than the road sofa. It has finally started to break in but I was told to expect a firm saddle before I bought it. I looked around the internet and found Axiom Cycles http://www.axiomcycles.com they had the best price but I was really surprised how knowledgeable and informative the salesman. He explained how the saddle would break in after about 1K miles.

 

Did you try using the embed picture option? Or maybe reshooting with a smaller picture pixel size.
