I mixed a little of both,chrome and black.
powder coated the accessory and turn light buckets and frame but left the rings chrome, and powder coated the forks, axle spacers and engine guard
I like a mix of black and blue, always have. Changing the exhaust shields to black made a significant difference. I want to black out some more, such as the front end, engine/bag guards, air/timing covers and black rocker boxes with a blue accent line. Hardest thing so far for me to find is a black turbine type air cleaner with a blue filter. I don't want a red filter, lol.
op... you want black , chrome or green... whatever,, as the last5 poster said... do what speaks to you... but there is no problem asking for advise and looking at what others have done.....ive blacked up a few... and i have always done a little at a time...until it looks done to me then i stop.....regardless if others think its stale doughnuts

I be weird as hell but I like the finish of tghe front wheel to match the finish of the fork lowers both move with the bike. Like I said i am odd.
I have chrome cowbells and lowers but just have not had the desire to install them.If I do the chrome cowbells will be covered with black wrap.

That's one of the nicest I've seen, just the right mix imo
I like my bike. It’s not black but has some on it and just enough chrome so it’s not a *****.
