This helped a bit.
Got the floorboard extensions from Soos and I think it made it just a bit better.
Don't have to move quite as far out to get around the brake and shifter.
3/4" helps.

Im expecting my EZ brake and shifter to arrive today. Hopefully this will solve the the same problem I have. I am 6'2 and find the controls on my RK to be to short as well. I'll let you know once I get them installed what type of a differnece it makes. I also am thinking about buying the HD extension floor boards.

if you need longer shifters .... look also at softbrake:

http://softbrake.com/

They have shifters etc there. You can get multiple sized extensions for your shifter arms ... also have extended brake levers as well. Nice outfit.....

Spend the $200 on the fancy linkage. I know it's too much money, but the stock one is going to break and leave you stranded so you might as well spend the money now. Go ahead, you're worth it!
You can buy heim joints to replace the crummy stock ball-and-socket units for $20/pair on Ebay, also available from CC or Drag. There are also some nice billet-chrome rods with heim joints on Ebay for <$60.

Definately go with the helm joints. My forward ball/socket joint broke sat and I had to use tiewraps to hold it together to get home.

I have an EZ Brake on my Electra Classic. It gave me much more useable space on my floorboard.

I still can't get my foot under the brake however so my foot angles outward. Is there someone that make a brake pedal that's not as wide as the HD or EZ brake pedal?
