I know this can be controversial but I'm just curious what those of you that use full synthetic oil do as far as your oil change interval in miles who ride year round and don't winterize your bike?
I don't use full synth, except in my S&S engine (recommended) and only ever service at recommended intervals. I've made it through 49 years of bike riding (mostly new bikes) and been fine so far!
At the least go with the recommended change outs. The motor oil still gets deposits, moisture, and other junk floating around in there no matter what type of oil. The synthetic does a better job under high heat and suspending that junk, but you still need to change it. How often is up to you.
I ride year round and I change the motor oil more often than what the MoCo recommends.

Reason: typo
FYI, I have 3 bikes and the owner manual recommendations for oil changes (engine, primary & tranny) are different for each bike so keep that in mind when you get advice from other riders.
