Default 4" vrs 3.5" slipons

I have kerker 3.5" slipons with fish tail tips. Yesterday I found myself looking at a set of 4" slipons with the exact same tips. Most likely SE slips. What if any would be the difference? I running kerker baffles with full packing and it will bark.

the outside has nothing to do with the insides...4" is a "looks thing" some think it balances out the look of the bike.

It can give a string horizontal line the balance out the angles and curves- kinda like underlining a sentence

what is important is the size of the core and the baffling.

the header is usually 1.75" many cores are 2"- a larger internal volume in the muffler means that as the gasses flow from the header into the muffler they will slow down, possibly eddy and even reverse direction- all 3 of these adverse for performance

Kerker/ Supertrapp has some good info on the basics of exhaust system design and function on their website
