Dyna Low Rider S or Road Glide Special
Harley owners,
Quick background. Been riding a C50 going on year now. Will more than likely grab a new rider over the winter. Went to a Demo event and was amazed at the Low Rider S and the Road Glide special. Mounted the SG special as well, just liked the RG better. Now I am torn. The goal either way is to have my bagger and a dyna in the stable but which first. No specific needs since I dont tour much now but may next year when I have more time. Thoughts? Opinions on the bikes? I always hear people say that you might as well get a bagger since you will in the future. Thanks for your time.

I'd buy the new RGS. And pick up a used low rider. It's apples and oranges.
When I bought my SG in 08 I had an 05 classic Springer. Figured I'd have both. 3k miles on the SG later I took the softtail out for a ride. Was gone about an hour took it home and sold it. Now that I'm on to roadglide. This is my second. Ya. I don't need anything else as nothing compares.

Well, that's debatable. I guess it does all the same, but does it differently. My LRS will ride circles around my RGS, but I'd never consider the LRS for more then a few hours at a time. The LRS will out handle and out accelerate the RGS in stock form. The RGS is a much more comfortable ride, less wind, radio, gps (if so equipped) bags, etc.
I love them both, but they are two different machines. Like a Corvette and a Cadillac.
Do like I did. Get them both. (Actually, don't. I'm kinda insane)

RG Or LR
I started out with a Street Bob and still have it. I just kept going for longer and longer rides and the smaller bike just wasn't comfortable for 12 hour rides. Enter the Road Glide...Much more adaptable for long days in the saddle. The new Road Glide Special is almost as agile as my SB, but a lot more comfortable.
